Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

Is Apoyo Health free?
Yes. Everything on the site is free to use. We do not charge for matches, applications, or referrals.
Is my data private?
Your intake is anonymous by default. We do not sell or share your answers with assistance programs, advertisers, or data brokers.
How do you find programs?
We curate programs from federal and state agencies, nonprofit foundations, hospital charity care policies, and pharmaceutical manufacturer assistance programs, then verify them on a regular schedule.
What does FPL mean?
FPL stands for Federal Poverty Level. Many assistance programs use a percentage of FPL (for example, up to 200% of FPL) as an eligibility threshold based on household income and size.
How often is your data updated?
We run an automated refresh weekly and re-verify programs regularly. Each listing shows its last verified date.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can see your matches without an account. A free account lets you save your results, come back to them later, and get updates when new programs match you.
Do you guarantee I will qualify?
No. Eligibility is always decided by each program. Our matches are a careful estimate based on the answers you provide.
Is the site in Spanish?
Yes. The full experience is available in English and Spanish. You can switch languages at any time from the header.
Do you cover programs outside Florida?
National programs work in every state. Our state-specific coverage is expanding. If your state has fewer matches today, we are actively adding more.
How can I report an outdated listing?
Email hello@apoyohealth.com with the program name and what changed. We review reports quickly.
